Our Team

Van Hiep is a communications and public relations officer for the CASE project under the GIZ ESP. He has a keen interest in Sustainable Development Goals, particularly the role of journalism and media in promoting a just energy transition in Viet Nam.

With 10 years of experience as a television reporter, Van Hiep holds a Master’s degree in Journalism, Media and Communications from Cardiff University, UK. During his studies in the UK, he gained extensive knowledge in journalism research, thus developing his essential skills to design and implement communication campaigns aligned with organisational mission and vision.

Quan is a PR & Coms Officer and is responsible for managing the Progamme’s design and other visual related projects. Before becoming a member of GIZ, he had been working as a graphic designer for 5 years – Which provided him with ample experiences and knowledge in this particular field of visual communication. Quan spent his university years in the United States, not only for studying but also taking the chance to travel extensively. After graduating in 2016, feeling somewhat satiated with what he had learnt and seen, Quan decided to return to Vietnam to deepen his personal & professional experience within his home country.

Thu Hà is a Junior Knowledge Management Specialist at GIZ ESP. With over 10 years of experience in language services and project support, she is responsible for all translation, interpretation, and knowledge management tasks under GIZ ESP.

Before joining GIZ ESP, she gained experience as a full-time language assistant and administrative assistant for the EU project “Capacity Building Support to the State Audit Office of Viet Nam” (EU-PFMO) and the UNDP and IrishAid-funded “Poverty Reduction Policies and Programs” project at the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in Hanoi. Thu Hà holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching and Education from the Viet Nam National University, Hanoi.

Xuyen is a Junior Knowledge Management Specialist at GIZ ESP. Previously, she worked as a Translator and Interpreter for ODA projects, focusing on environmental improvement, construction, and drainage and sewerage sectors.

Passionate about contributing to Viet Nam’s sustainable development, Xuyen brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. Xuyen holds a BA in English for Science and Technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Chau Giang is the Executive Assistant for the GIZ ESP. She previously worked as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant/Corporate Communications at B. Braun Viet Nam and as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at Colas Rail Viet Nam.

Chau Giang has over 19 years of experience in general administration, office management, and corporate communications, executing various administrative tasks and providing secretarial assistance to the management team. She graduated from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Latrobe University, Australia.

Pham Huong Giang joined GIZ ESP as an Administrative Specialist/Contract & Procurement in December 2021. She brings extensive experience in working collaboratively with partners as well as overseeing business projects funded by IFC.

Prior to her role at GIZ ESP, Pham Huong Giang accumulated significant experience in financial management within the private sector.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics with a focus on Banking and Finance from Hanoi National Economic University and completed a Master of Commerce in Accounting and Finance at Macquarie University, Australia

Ngoc Oanh joined GIZ ESP as an Administrative Officer/Contract & Procurement since March 2020. She graduated from the Hanoi Foreign Trade University with a Bachelor’s in International Business Economics.

Before joining GIZ ESP, Ngoc Oanh gained much experience in the business sector, from government companies to foreign-invested enterprises. She was the vital procurement and contract officer of the company’s major projects, supplying her extensive experience dealing with international cooperation through commercial agreements or collaboration frameworks.

Minh Hang is a Junior Administrative Specialist/ Finance for CASE and TEV Projects under GIZ ESP. She joined the Programme as a Junior Administrative Officer/Logistic Event Management in June 2021 and was promoted to Finance Specialist after one year.

Before joining GIZ ESP, she worked in a service quality assurance team in an international private sector in Viet Nam for three years and as an event specialist in the UK for one year. She holds a Bachelor’s in international business from Viet Nam National University and a Master’s in Event Management from Bournemouth University, United Kingdom.

Nguyen Phuong Ly has been serving as an Administrative Specialist/Contract & Procurement at GIZ ESP since 2022. Before joining GIZ ESP, she accumulated four years of experience in sourcing goods and services with international corporations.

With her strong educational background and professional experience, Nguyen Phuong Ly aims to enhance the contract and procurement processes at ESP specifically and within GIZ more broadly.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Foreign Trade University in Vietnam and a Master’s degree in International Business Management from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom.

Diu has joined the Energy Support Programme as an Administrative Officer – Contract & Procurement since February 2022. Before joining GIZ, she worked for the trading companies specialized in purchasing and had almost 8 years of experience working on development projects of JICA specializing in financial and administrative management.

She has extensive experience in working with a wide range of partners, enterprises and closely supports government agencies under the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development and Ministry of Education and Training. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Economics from Hanoi Foreign Trade University and a Master’s Degree in Economics from National Economics University, Vietnam.

Nguyen Quoc Hoan is an Administrative Specialist/Contract & Procurement at GIZ ESP. He brings extensive experience in strategic planning, project management, tendering, and contracting from various roles.

Before joining GIZ ESP, Nguyen Quoc Hoan held various positions at the Institute of Strategy Research, Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Department of Industrial Security, Ministry of Public Security.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from National Economics University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

To Anh is an Administrative Specialist/Contract & Procurement for the PDPH2, PDPP5, PDP HEAT Projects, GIZ ESP.

Before joining GIZ ESP, To Anh worked as a Contract Specialist for a state-owned enterprise. She has experience working with international corporations and state representatives at the Department of Planning and Investment, under the Ministry of Defense. To Anh holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Economics from Foreign Trade University, Viet Nam and a Master’s in Marketing, Franchising, Retail, & Service, France.
