The PtX Outreach Project has been helping Viet Nam lay the groundwork for green hydrogen (GH2) & Power-to-X (PtX) development. This involves adding sustainability aspects to the industry, sharing international expertise in designing legal frameworks, and capacity building for policymakers & educational institutes.  

The PtX Outreach Project includes four fields of activities:   

1. Assessment & advice on the sustainability of PtX projects & policies  

Study on crucial sustainability criteria for Viet Nam’s PtX industry  

2. Analysis and dialogue on regulations & technical standards  

Roundtable discussions on experience with international and national companies  
Study on technical standards in PtX industries  

3. “PtX scoping” of Viet Nam  

Study on strategy for oil, gas and chemical industry  
Analysing the Vietnamese industrial sectors and identifying their defossilisation potentials with PtX  
Application of green ammonia for the power production industry  

4. International PtX Academy: knowledge building on PtX worldwide

03 training courses for private and public stakeholders by Vietnamese trainers
